Like many great luthiers, Alexandre Boyadjian had been a professional cabinet maker. He began building guitars in the late 1950's (a period of ferment in French guitar making; Bouchet, Friederich, Aubin, et al) and opened his shop in 1960 in Lyon. In excellent condition, this guitar is incredibly well-balanced with a very large, beautiful sound - exceptionally "present", still concert-performance-worthy. One of the best guitars in our shop.
