Great presence, sustain, character, sweetness, clarity, and yes, warmth. This is an exquisite example of Raya Pardo's best works of art. The craftsmanship is, of course, impeccable, and the tone/sound is extraordinary, built with only the highest quality woods, created for a most discriminating/demanding buyer.

40th Anniversary Model

German Spruce Soundboard, Indian Rosewood Back and Sides
Ebony fretboard with 650 string length.
$7400  SOLD

This is a beautiful example of Antonio Raya Pardo's masterful work. Considered one of the leading lights of the Granada school of guitar making, Antonio was supported and influenced by the great Antonio Marin Montero who many regard as the dean of that branch of Spanish luthery.

This guitar features a close grained German spruce top, exceptional Indian Rosewood back and sides and beautiful details. The bracing system is inspired by the Marin Montero/Robert Bouchet design with six fan braces and a tone bar crossing under the bridge to create good sustain and crystal clear trebles. It is very balanced with excellent volume and has the beautiful, sweet Granada tone which is typical of Raya Pardo's best guitars.
